offered by the Seaxe Club you must agree to the
terms and conditions of the service.
Please read these and be
sure that you are willing to agree to them before returning to the
car share form

The Seaxe Club Car sharing scheme
Terms and Conditions

The scheme will only last for the 2008 season and can be
withdrawn at any time.

Registration for the scheme is only available on-line each
time you wish to travel/offer a lift.

You can terminate your registration at anytime by emailing
carshare@seaxeclub.co.uk

I agree:
a)
To use the information provided by Seaxe only for the purpose of
contacting someone to arrange a lift/offer a lift to a Middlesex
match. Any other reason will constitute misuse of the scheme and further
use of the scheme will be withdrawn.
b)
That I will not use the scheme to make a profit and have
adequate insurance. It is my responsibility to notify my insurance
company and / or any other individual(s) or corporate body(ies) which
may have an interest in the vehicle in question. The Seaxe Club accepts
no responsibility for losses incurred, directly or indirectly due to the
driver accepting petrol contributions.
c)
To be responsible for making the car-share arrangements with those
with whom I have been put in touch.
This includes any agreeing any payments for
accepting/providing a lift; conditions for travelling such as smoking
preferences; pick up and drop off arrangements; contingencies for the
weather etc. The Seaxe Club does not accept any responsibility if the
exchange of emails does not result in a car share arrangement.
d) That either party can withdraw from the
arrangement at any time.

I understand that if I misuse the facility including any
illegal or unsocial behaviour when contacting others registered or
whilst car sharing; my use of the scheme will be terminated.
If you are requested by another member not
to contact them again, you must not do so.
You must refrain from using language that
would be considered abusive, profane or offensive to the average
person. -
I confirm that I am 18 years old or over, hold a full
driving licence and a full current member (2008) of Middlesex County
Cricket Club.

Information requesting a match must be sent at least two
days prior to travel.
Information received after this will not be
acted upon.

I agree that the Seaxe Club may verify my membership of Middlesex County Cricket Club.
and may hold my personal
details for the whole season for the purpose of contacting those in the
scheme about car sharing and verifying my membership of Middlesex County
Cricket Club.

The Seaxe Club cannot accept any responsibility or
liability:
a) If the person offering the lift fails to meet you at the agreed
time or if any other agreement or arrangement is not met by either
party.
b) For any loss or injury incurred by anyone registered for the
scheme resulting from taking part in it.
c) If we are unable to meet our obligations
under the scheme due to any failure of any machine data processing
system or transmission link or any industrial dispute outside of our
control.

The Seaxe Club:
a) Cannot and does not, guarantee to find a compatible driver or
passenger for people registered for the scheme and our inability to do
so will not be considered reason for any compensation whatsoever.
b)
Will not enter into any correspondence regarding a match once
email addresses have been passed to both parties.
c)
May notify you of any changes to these Terms and Conditions by
notice of variation by sending an email attachment to the email address
provided when you registered or by notification on the Seaxe Club
website.
